CPCS-CI facilitated a workshop for the co-creation of a label for shea butter produced by the Chigata cooperative of Natio-Kobadara, commune of Korhogo, on January 28, 2023. This activity is part of the PEACE project , Ecological project and continuous improvement of the economy of Shea butter producers of Natio-Kobadara. This project aims to improve the marketing of shea butter by female producers and build their capacities.

Using the Human-Centered Design approach, the workshop which brought together members of the Chigata cooperative and users of shea butter at Natio, made it possible to create a label, to determine the possible packaging of shea butter, to revisit distribution channels for shea butter and to begin thinking about the opportunities for transforming shea butter into semi-finished and finished products. Following this workshop, a survey was conducted to choose the name of the label.
